KIWANIS CLUB DONATES
$5000 TO CHILDREN’S CENTER
The Kiwanis Club of Hilton Head presented a
check for $5000 to The Children’s Center, Inc., as part of the Club’s ongoing
support to local children’s charities. The funds for this donation were
raised through Kiwanis’ sponsorship of two recent events on Hilton Head:
Peanut Day and the Chili Cook-Off.
The Children’s Center provides educational and childcare services for
low-income parents who would otherwise be unable to afford
such care. The Center currently serves approximately 270 children in its
Hilton Head and Bluffton locations.
