Results of the 10 Rib Burn Off
Another great day for the Hilton Head Kiwanis
club's spring event. Ribs, and BBQ. Not a cloud in the
sky. The temperature was
hot
for a day in May. Everyone had a great time. Honey Horn was
the site for our event and it's the perfect place to eat ribs,
relax and listen to great music. "Low Country Boil" performed
Blue Grass music. Cooking started cooking the day before to be
sure the meat & spices is just right. Restaurants and amateurs
compete for trophies and another year's bragging rights.
The sheriff's department & Hilton Head Fire Departments
provided equipment and educational materials for families. Advanced tickets are $12.00 and available through any
Kiwanis member, Burke's Pharmacy, The Coastal Discovery
Museum, The Internet Cafe in Coligny
Plaza or any location of NBSC or Wachovia banks. Tickets
are also available at the door for $15.00.
Addition food tickets are available for $3.00 each, in case
you're still hungry. Click here for
